Second session- 23 April 2020 - TIME 18:00 PM CET Check your time zone
Presenter: Luis Muñiz (PhD) - Application Scientist at PlaneLight
Duration: 30 minutes
PlaneLight announces the second webinar featuring innovative imaging features in Light Sheet microscopy. In this LIVE sessionwe will image a large specimen (around 10 mm thick) from opposite angles, and then integrate both sets of data in a single image series with increased resolution and signal to noise ratio.Multiangle imaging allows to overcome issues such as suboptimal clearing, optically dense areas or excessive sample size. While other vendors build additional detection and illumination hardware in their devices, QLS-Scope takes an alternative approach based on
- Our ability to rotate the sample,
- The fastest SPIM imaging on the market (featured in our first webinar, available at planelight.net),
- An intuitive software that guides the user to optimize the reconstruction and executes it in a few minutes.
These features allow us to go from sample to data in under 20 minutes, without requiring extensive processing or additional software.
This is the second in a series of webinars showing LIVE how QLS-Scope can adapt to your sample to obtain isotropic resolution by using single SPIM, imaging from several angles or our unique combination of SPIM-OPT.
Unlike any other vendor, we will demonstrate such capabilities for 5 to 10 mm-thick samples.
